How the wg8 Platform began

At first the team's goal was very simple: to create a familiar online gaming experience that could be accessed quickly from mobile, with the first prototype focusing on three things: speed, clean design, and local payments

At that time the team realized that for Bangladeshi users, flashy language isn't needed; clear steps are required, so the information is broken into small parts, which later created wd8's user-friendly style

Once a user sets up, they do not have to read complicated things repeatedly; the team thus keeps the same simplicity in content, navigation and help sections

Not a decade-long story, but step-by-step progress

2022: First framework

The service focus was account creation, quick login and mobile-readable layout; small team, but clear decisions

2023: The team grows

New people join in support, content and technology; based on Dhaka and nearby users' questions, the FAQ is made more specific

From 2024: Mobile focus

In the wg8 App, one-handed use, fast page loads and easy reading on small screens are prioritized, with low data usage kept in mind

What the team works on

When a user opens the app, several teams work together behind the scenes: the Content team handles language, the Tech team keeps pace, and the Support team organizes answers to questions

Here three separate small focuses can be seen: one is security, one is usability, and another is local reality; so questions related to bKash, Nagad and Rocket are answered separately in simple language
